Gabby Williams Committed to MSU Moorhead
Gabby Williams has signed a national letter of intent to continue her education and softball career at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Congratulations Gabby, we are excited and proud of you!
Kellie White Committed to Ole Miss
Kellie White has verbally committed to continue her softball career at the University of Mississippi. Kellie has been a leader on this team since she joined us. She's shown great maturity, poise and talent and has enjoyed great success pitching for the Batbusters. Kellie has shown her dominance when facing Premier caliber teams as she elevates her game to compete at any level. Kellie garnered interest from several schools this Fall season and she's chosen to play in the SEC and join the Rebels of “Ole Miss”. She will be bringing her work ethic and "Bulldog" mentality to Mississippi and will undoubtedly help them in the near future. Congratulations Kellie!
Livy Schiele Committed to Auburn
Livy Schiele has verbally committed to continue her softball career at Auburn University. Livy had several options to consider over the fall season with Auburn as her top choice. She looked at other schools and talked with several other coaches before she realized that her heart was set on Auburn. Livy shows a softball presence and maturity not seen in the typical high school freshman. She brings “a triple threat” ability to the plate with the skills to hit away, slap, and drag to get on base. Along with great speed, a strong arm, a great glove, and great attitude Livy possess all the characteristics and skills to be a great asset to Auburn. We are proud of you Livy, Congratulations!

Shelbianne Evans Committed to San Diego Christian
Shelbianne Evans has verbally committed to continue her softball career at San Diego Christian College where she'll no doubt be a part of building new a local team and program into a highly successful one. Coach Cheryl Schaefer is getting a player that has the leadership and attitude that it takes to command a defense from the catcher position. Shelbi has shown us that she has the offensive and defensive skills to excel at the next level. Congratulations Shelbi!
Sydney James Committed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Sydney James has verbally committed to continue her softball career at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, we couldn't be more proud! Sydney came to the team with a willingness and desire to improve her game and she lived the better stronger team philosophy. She work hard, she put in the extra time, she continued to improve all aspects of her game while excelling in the class room. Her efforts, commitment, attitude, skills, and school work earned her this opportunity. Congratulations Sydney!
Laura Curry Committed to UT Arlington
Laura Curry, a 2015 speedy outfielder, has verbally committed to continue her education and softball career for the University Texas Arlington Mavericks. Laura's ability to get on base, steal 2nd and 3rd is an asset all teams are looking for. UT Arlington was impressed with her skills this last fall, love her speed, and her athleticism. Laura has a great work ethic with the skills and potential to be one of the best slappers in the nations by the time she is ready to attend UT Arlington. We are excited for her and look forward to 3 more years working with her before she begins her college career.
Julie McDonald Committed to San Diego State
Julie, a 2015 pitcher, 1B, and hitter has verbally committed to play at San Diego State. Julie was impressive during the fall, facing many of the top 18u programs and drawing the attention of some of the top softball schools around the country. Julie chose to stay close to home so that her fans (mainly her parents LOL) can watch her play. Julie has the build, the drive, and the presence on the mound to be one of the top pitchers in the nation. We look forward to her growth over the next 3 travel balls seasons and following her career at SDSU; the sky is the limit. Congratulations Julie!
Megan Leyva Committed to DePaul
Megan Leyva, a multi-talented 2014 pitcher has committed to continue her education and softball career at DePaul University. Megan brings power on the mound, speed on the bases, and power at the plate. Her commanding personality, some would say ‘quiet as a mouse’ and her dedication to the game will be a true asset to the Blue Demons of DePaul. Congratulations Megan!
San Diego Renegades Mourn Tragic Loss
The Renegades Family has lost one of its shining stars. On July 18th 2011, Renegades 18-Gold pitcher Briana Williams and her mother Mrs. Donna Williams had their lives cut short in a tragic family incident. Bree was a gifted athlete, with a zest for life and fashion. She represented our organization with sportsmanship, integrity and tremendous talent. Mrs. Donna Williams was a constant supporter of her daughter and the Renegades. Bree and her mother will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by her coaches, teammates, friends and the community of Rancho Penasquitos.
